Thomas P. Fogarty

Motorcycle-mounted Officer Thomas P. Fogarty died at Walter Reed Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in collision that occurred with a car in Rock Creek Park on August 6, 1941. Offcier Forgarty was rounding a curve on Beach Drive near Military Road when the collision occurred. He was 52 years old and had 25 years of U. S. Park Police service.

Officer Fogarty's name name has been engraved on Panel 13, West 8 of the National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial.
